130-foot gray pine directional felling

This 130-foot gray pine (Pinus sabiniana) had a pronounced head lean over a residence. Relative to the intended lay away from the house, that natural lean became substantial back lean. Shasta Tree Pro used a 5:1 mechanical-advantage pull-line system to overcome the back lean and directionally fell the tree safely into the designated landing zone.
